Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM) joined industry leaders at the SITECH CEO Summit Karachi 2025 Powered by CONNECTECH, hosted by CEO Club Pakistan & World CEO Forum. The event, held on February 27, 2025, at Karachi Marriott Hotel, carried the theme “Building Trust for Growth.” It brought together over 500 top executives, including CEOs, Chairmen, Directors, Business Leaders, Ambassadors, Entrepreneurs, and Policy Makers, to discuss corporate leadership, innovation, and industrial indigenization.

Mr. Shehbaz Akbar joined Peoples Steel Mills (PSM) in December 2024 as Director Administration, bringing over 30 years of leadership experience and strategic insight. Known for his organizational strength, attention to detail, and results-driven approach, he plays a key role in enhancing administrative operations.
With a strong background in administration, operations, and fleet management, Mr. Akbar ensures smooth internal processes and fosters strong professional relationships across the organization.

Mr.Aqeel is a successful business leader with the capacity to steer organizations to the next level, foster lasting transformation, and boost shareholder value by implementing an innovative approach to human resources. He took on this pivotal role in January 2022, having previously served as an Executive Vice President at Siemens.

Mr. Salman Ahmed is a highly inspirational, qualified and a progressive professional. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Pakistan. He has been part of Peoples Steel Mills Ltd. since 2017; prior to this he has been serving the corporate sector for almost two decades in the field of accounting, finance, audit and corporate affairs.
His professional experience encircles different listed, unlisted multinational and local companies operating in textile, leasing, engineering and retail sector. He has developed a reputation of the company in different corporate forums which helps in capturing the diversified dynamics of benchmark financial practices in vogue.
A highly accomplished and results-oriented production leader with a proven track record of successfully initiating and executing management numerous projects within Peoples Steel Mills. Processing extensive experience in all facets of production management, from strategic planning and process optimization to team leadership and quality control. Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing innovative production strategies that enhanced output, reduced costs, and improved product quality.
